INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS
1. A Prayer hall temple at Bodh Gaya:
Bodh Gaya is the holiest land to the Buddhist. Every year, our Abbots, former abbots, senior monks and monks in general as well as our well-wishers, benefactors visits Bodh Gaya for HHDL teaching, or as pilgrimage or to do prostrations at the holy site. Monastery already purchased a small plot of land there and is proposing to construct a Gomang prayer hall, rooms/quarters for monks/guests/pilgrims which will help all people visiting this holiest Buddhist Pilgrimage site. The project will cost will be updated soon.
2. Staff Quarter:
Many monks have been serving the monastery for many years in various fields. Monastery proposed to construct two-story monk staff quarter, approximate cost: Rs.70,00,000/-
3. Donation/offerings are requested for our choera project (debate courtyard project)
Donation and offerings are requested for our ongoing debate courtyard project as the project is still undergoing and funds are required for many pending work. For more information, please email us.
4. AUDIO/SOUND SYSTEMS AT THE NEW DEBATE COURTYARD
Currently audio/sound systems (mike, speakers, etc.) for the new debate courtyard are being rented from outside, a full audio/sound system is required at the new debate courtyard where it can use for the monastic special events and curriculum, seminars, conference especially for religious teachings/discourse when His Holiness the Dalai Lama will make a visit in near future. The full sound system approximate cost will be Rs.30,00,000/-
